Intangibles was selected by The City of Paris and the CCIP to redesign the OTCP (Tourist Information and Congress Center), located rue des Pyramides, in the 2nd district of Paris. Such a project makes sense at time for Grand Paris : the OTCP becomes the hot spot for communication and consumption of cultural leisure activities in the capital and its region.
In that perspective, and in order to rethink the notion of reception, we created a space where visitors are taken care of right at the entrance thanks to a queue management system : visitors are invited to complete themselves the most simple operations (search for information, access to documentations…) and have the possibility to grab further information on tablets or tactile screens, through a customer journey where digital is always made useful.
For transactional operations like show tickets or Museum Pass purchases, a new comfort is proposed thanks to large desks where it is possible to exchange in one’s mother tongue with a reception agent.
Last but not least, the place proposes an instant immersion into the Parisian heritage, with its frontage protected by a majestic grid that represents the refined design of the metallic arch between two Eiffel Tower’s pillars.
